Gwar are soldiering on with their "Return of the World Maggot" tour, and they've just announced another run of tour dates. Joining them will be party thrashers Municipal Waste, with Ghoul providing support.

Starring in the video is none other than Danny Trejo, a friend of the band's director, Scott Hansen.
The Ultimate Warrior -- a force in the professional wrestling world for, well, the better part of my childhood -- was among the roasters at the Guitar World Rock and Roll Roast of Zakk Wylde this past Thursday night at The Grove in Anaheim, California.
While the Warrior was not able to be on hand, he did send in a video roast for Zakk, which can be seen below.
After a revolving cast of lead singers throughout the last decade, Anthrax most definitely deserved the excellent year they had in 2011.
They released their new album, Worship Music, to critical acclaim the day before playing Yankee Stadium as part of an epic Big Four performance.

Epiphone unveiled their new Dave Navarro Signature Acoustic/Electric guitar at last week's 2012 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California.
Navarro visited the Epiphone booth on Friday meet fans and demo the new guitar, and you can check out some photos in the gallery below.

Neck Species: The neck of the Dave Navarro Signature Acoustic/Electric is constructed from one solid piece of solid, lightweight mahogany.
British progressive metal band TesseracT have revealed plans for an acoustic EP to be released this spring via Century Media. Tentatively titled Perspective, the EP is set to contain reworked versions of songs from the band's debut album, One, as well as what the band are calling "a very special" cover song.
This past week, Ovation announced the release of two new signature Viper models designed by and for Yngwie Malmsteen. The two models will come in two colors, white and Rosso Corsa Red, which Ovation points out matches one of Yngwie's favorite Ferraris.

Guitar World visited the Ibanez booth at last week's Winter NAMM show to see two versions of their new Mick Thomson Signature model guitars.
Slipknot are headlining the Mayhem Festival this summer, and Thomson will actually be using the Black version of the guitar with the awesome "Seven" inlay. It features a neck-through design and Seymour Duncan pickups. On the left in the video is a Blood Red "budget" version of the model.

Here's some fan-filmed video of Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, performing a live cover of Pearl Jam's "Black" this past Saturday night at New York City's Bowery Ballroom.
The show was part of Portlandia: The Tour, as in Portlandia, the fairly decent comedy on IFC.
Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder actually appears in the first episode of the show's second season -- so it all makes sense!
