Jeff

Could you please give us the links for April. Many of us wish to see the Charlie Christian lesson.

Thanks for the downloads of the more recent issue videos.

avatar

JeffKitts

Don't really want to take up Hotfile space with all the files from an issue that's six months old, but here's the Charlie Christian video:

Hope it helps!

Thanks Jeff for the complete Charlie Christian lesson on behalf of all CC fans.

Thanks, I appreciate your efforts on our behalf.

Hey Jeff..Big boo boo on the Last Licks video..It's a totally different video lesson than what's in this months mag..It's on legato instead of sweeep picking..Must be an older one.

avatar

JeffKitts

Ugh, you're right! Not sure how that happened...I'm investigating with Martin now.

Sorry for the delay guys, but the download links are ready. Again, this was a case where our ONE video editor was on a two-week honeymoon, so there wasn't anything I could do this time. As always, appreciate all the hatred!

Thanks for the effort but -- again -- the Glenn Proudfoot Loud and Proud video lesson has not been included in the September downloads. This was also the case in July, which was never responded to. Please see more detailed comments there.

Can your newly-married video editor please post the July and September Proudfoot video downloads at his or her earliest convenience?

Much appreciated. It's obvious that many of us use and enjoy these videos. They are always well done and hugely informative.

Thanks again.

I just tested it and it's fine...really no chance of a virus anyway, seeing as we're on Macs and run a pretty secure system here.

Thanks for double checking Jeff. My McAfee AV may have just been overly sensitive but I had that ZeroAccess monstrocity a month ago and just wanted to be sure all was safe.

Thanks again!

I don't want to turn this into a MAC vs PC discussion but do not assume just because you are running MACs that you are immune to hosting and spreading a virus. While MACs are definitly more secure than PCs, they do get infected.

avatar

bubbakorshka

Has anyone else got a virus warning when trying to download these? McAfee warned me that there was a virus in the Gear file. Haven't tried the other two yet.

avatar

Can we get the videos sometime before the next issue comes out? Or are they going to be lost in the shuffle just like the April 2012 videos were?

avatar

joey5150

I pitty the fool that don't give me tha videos...

avatar

rempelrt

I am not going to Rip anyone, but every month it is the same thing. If this is not fix your going to lose me.

avatar

gnri

please people, every month you guys complain about how you get ripped off. if you don't like the content don't re-up.i've been reading guitar world for 25 years and for decades they had no vids or discs and i still say it's a bargin for what you pay. so save your whinning for your mommy!!!

avatar

bubbakorshka

I would save it for my mommy, if my mommy were the one I entered into an agreement with and she were theone who breached that agreement. However, it was Guitar World who did that. So, accordingly, I will save my legitimate concerns (ie. whinning, according to you) for Guitar World.

Oh, and thanks for the advice on not re-upping. That is already a given. I would just like to get the videos I paid extra for the last time I re-upped.

I swear to god, this magazine has gone ghetto.

Settle down everyone...we have ONE video editor, and he's on his honeymoon. I'll see what can be done about the video downloads this month, but I can't say for sure when it'll happen.

Be patient, thx.

And Oneunder...I can't check this page every single day for comments. If you have an issue, just email soundingboard@guitarworld.com...I get all the mail anyway, so I'll see it right away.

This magazine is becoming a scam. We are not getting what we're paying for. I called customer service and was told there is no one to talk to about content issues. This is like talking to a wall. No response. I guess we're lucky if the magazine comes in the mail.

mikeyesfan

I meant the page for downloading on your computer the videos in this issue. Where are the links for downloading the videos; usually, someone puts it up takes a little while though I know.

avatar

Z---Man

The Musicvox page is broken & won't work.

razorrex

Where is the video review of the Carvin Legacy 3?

avatar

mikeyesfan

I agree, where do you have the links to this issue I like the progressive stuff this issue? And you guys covering all the progressive bands in the past Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Rush, plus the new Bands in that style. You might make a DVD on Playing Progressive Guitar or Yes. I hope that Rush one day starts like Ozzy did for Heavy Metal the Ozz Fest a Prog Rock Fest that would be great for new progressive bands out there.
