Based on extensive research and experimentation, Recording King introduces the Torrefied Series of torrefied top guitars. Using designs born from our collaboration with renowned historian/luthier Eric Schoenberg, Recording King makes the benefits of a torrefied top available to every player. Torrefaction is a specialized heating process used on our Adirondack spruce tops in which the wood is heated at a low temperature in an oxygen-free environment.
For the very first time, Eastman Guitars will debut two pairs of instruments designed to inspire the eclectic sounds of the Music City. During the Summer NAMM Show later this week in Nashville, Eastman Guitars will display the VB95 Eastman Pro Bass and VLF2 Eastman Fiddle Pro Outfit at booth #1016.

Yossi Sassi – who plays the acoustic bouzouki (think Greek mandolin) and electric guitar – was looking for an efficient way to switch between both instruments.
Eastman Guitars continues their 10th Anniversary celebration this July at the Summer NAMM Show in Nashville. Eastman will be introducing several acoustic guitars from the new 00 Series models. Composite Acoustics, Peavey’s line of premium carbon fiber acoustic guitars, recently partnered with members of the clean water organization Raincatchers to bring guitar instruction and enjoyment to the people of Haiti. While on a Raincatchers trip to Haiti to teach members of local communities how to collect rainwater and provide clean water on a daily basis, team member Chad Dohring learned just how much experiencing guitar meant to the townspeople when he brought out his acoustic guitar.
