Recording King's USA Custom Shop produces exquisitely crafted collectors' banjos handmade in the USA. The Custom Shop combines all the essential elements of classic Pre-War style banjos into one-of-a-kind instruments. Recording King's custom production is led by Greg Rich, who built his reputation designing some of the world's most unique deco-style banjos from the late '80s through the early '90s.
We are excited to give you not just one, but TWO chances to win a small body The Loar LO-16 acoustic guitar. Have you noticed that many players prefer a small body? Great tone and portability make it the perfect touring companion (and great for pretty much anywhere of course!)
As always, several members of the Guitar World crew were on hand at the 2014 Summer NAMM Show in lovely and talented Nashville, Tennessee, taking pics, getting the latest gear news and shooting plenty of videos.
Based on extensive research and experimentation, Recording King introduces the Torrefied Series of torrefied top guitars. Using designs born from our collaboration with renowned historian/luthier Eric Schoenberg, Recording King makes the benefits of a torrefied top available to every player. Torrefaction is a specialized heating process used on our Adirondack spruce tops in which the wood is heated at a low temperature in an oxygen-free environment.
For the very first time, Eastman Guitars will debut two pairs of instruments designed to inspire the eclectic sounds of the Music City. During the Summer NAMM Show later this week in Nashville, Eastman Guitars will display the VB95 Eastman Pro Bass and VLF2 Eastman Fiddle Pro Outfit at booth #1016.
