The Women’s International Music Network (The WiMN) is pleased to announce the 2015 She Rocks Awards honorees. Taking place on January 23, 2015 at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel from 6:00pm to 8:30pm during the NAMM Show, the third annual She Rocks Awards honors women who stand out as role models in the industry.
Internationally renowned master acoustic guitarist Andy McKee has created “Andy McKee’s Musicarium.” As his first ever music camp, the event will take place August 3 - 7, 2015 at Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY in the Catskill Mountains. The 4-day experience will be an immersion in music, guitar playing and all things creative. Led by Andy with his handpicked guests and instructors including top players like Antoine Dufour, Stephen Bennett and Billy McLaughlin, plus a special appearance by master guitar builder Michael Greenfield, the ‘Musicarium’ will be filled with workshops, breakout sessions, jamming, open mics, concerts, and music in every way, shape or form.

Ernie Ball has teamed up with McKee to find the next great acoustic guitar player! The company is asking players to submit a 15-second to two-minute video of their best original acoustic performance for a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Hollywood to record an EP at NRG Studios with McKee at the producing helm.

Sevendust has announced the third and final leg of their acoustic U.S. tour in support of their critically acclaimed acoustic album, Time Travelers & Bonfires. The tour kicks off November 4 in Knoxville, TN at The International. It’s the first time the band will play these cities this year, including the band’s hometown of Atlanta. Tickets go on sale Saturday, October 4 at 10:00am EST. They’ll be joined by the Alabama rock band A.Z., who’ll also be performing acoustic.
Florida-based band Roadkill Ghost Choir have a new music video for their song "Slow Knife." Lead singer Andrew Shepard commented on the filming process and final product: "I sat in a bathtub full of black liquid for 5 hours so you can enjoy this 4 minute video.
