Aerosmith Streaming New Song, "Lover Alot"

Stream a brand-new track from Music From Another Dimension!

Aerosmith have just premiered the latest single from their upcoming 15th studio album. Stream "Lover Alot" via the SoundCloud player below.

"Lover Alot" is taken from the band's upcoming album, Music From Another Dimension!, which is slated for a November 6 release via Columbia Records.

The album marks a renewed focus on Aerosmith by frontman Steven Tyler, who recently announced his departure from American Idol to focus on the band.

“After some long ... hard ... thoughts, I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress American Idol before she boils my rabbit,” Tyler said in an official statement. “I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I’m back -- but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I got two fists in the air and I’m kicking the door open with my band."

this rocks... it is vintage... it is fresh... it is aerosmith... It will be in my car, home and office.

I find this slightly better than the previous release. Seems they MAY actually be writing their own songs again. After Vacation I lost all interest as they turned to pro song writers to do their jobs. Come on guys wheres the heavy funky rock n roll riffs you used to put together???????

oh, dear as a long time Aerosmith fan - 70's that is - have to say the two songs so far from the lads have been, er... underwhelming. This is actually less interesting than the first one which was a bland slice of 90's style Aerosmith... : (

Give me the Debut, Getyer wings, Toys and even Vacation & Pump but not Get a grip when they became what this sounds like...

Good luck to them and hope it's successful, but I won't be rushing out to buy it!
