Dear Guitar Hero: Slash

How did you go about finding musicians for your first band, or did someone find you for your first band?

I'm in a band with some guys who are not as series as I believe that i am. Music to me is as important as the air I breathe.

Hey Slash.. I'd Love to know How you get that awesome Tone,what effects do you use as well ? (strictly pedals or rackmounted effects ?)

A friend of mine Brian of Ultimate Guitar works here in Winnipeg had a Les Paul that you had autographed for him, -which I thought was really cool of you ! ..He brought it in to you when you were doing a show here with Guns n Roses many years ago in the early 90's I guess it was.(I was at the show as well-but can't remember the date...lol ! )

another curious question....Did you ever attend Music schools like GIT , How did you learn your positions,scales,and especially your brilliant improvisation skills ?

Just like all the other interviews and lessons, this one's just as kick-ass. Your books a really good read, too. You should make a solo cd like Nikki Sixx did for his. I'm sure the rest of the guys in Velvet Revolver would understand.

what kind of guitar did you start off with. Also what do u do to nial those tricky solos.
