A new iPad app will allow Beatles and guitar fans the chance to check out the personal guitar collection of the late George Harrison. The app, The Guitar Collection: George Harrison, will be released through iTunes on February 23, two days before what would have been the former Beatle's 69th birthday.
Paul McCartney has announced his interest in starting a sightseeing business in The Beatles' hometown of Liverpool, England. McCartney said he “wants to give something back to the locals” of Liverpool in the form of a special sightseeing production.
The next studio album by Paul McCartney will be released on February 7 on Hear Music/Concord Records. The catch is that the album -- which is still untitled -- will be McCartney's tribute to the standards he grew up listening to. It also will feature two new original songs, which was the formula for his last album of covers, 1999's Run Devil Run.
