Tight but loose hit the nail on the head. Fastway was a major overlook on the part of Guitar. I just listened to Fastway yesterday on the
treadmill.Great rock n roll (produced by Eddie Kramer) for any occasion.

Surely you're joking with Pantera's "Metal Magic." I'm fan of Pantera but saying that that album is one that defined 1983 is one hell of a stretch. They definitely had a following in Texas but they were basically unknown outside of it. I don't even think the majority of the country had heard of that albums existence until well into the 90's when they had become a house hold name in metal and it started popping up in stores as an "import."

Very True - I think they had something like three albums before Power Metal, definitive of 1983 probably not - but all the same I thought I'd mention it ;)

Steeler (w/Yngwie)
Merciful Fate - Melissa
Suicidal Tendencies
Motorhead - Another Perfect Day

And BTW, I think Dokken released "Breaking the Chains" that year, not Tooth And Nail

Social Distortion released Mommy's little Monster & Alice Cooper released an Album that year as well. Pantera also Released Metal Magic that year though I've never given a true chance to the last two mentioned just brought them up since I truly liked their other songs and or albums.
