After plenty of teaser videos, song premieres and streaming events, Black Sabbath's long-awaited new album, 13, was finally released today, June 11, via Vertigo/Republic. To celebrate the occasion, all three remaining original members of the band — Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler — will participate in a live Town Hall event at 7 EST tonight.
Even though Black Sabbath's new album, 13, isn't even out yet, Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler has already dropped a hint that this latest effort might not be the band's last. "Well, I guess you should never say never," Butler told Billboard. "It could be, though. We'll see how this album goes, see what happens."
Black Sabbath have confirmed a 20-city North American trek that kicks off July 25 in Houston, Texas. The tour also will include stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Tinley Park (Chicago), San Francisco and other major markets, along with the previously announced stops in Holmdel, New Jersey; Los Angeles, Seattle and Toronto, Ontario.
