BM LINX - Custom Amp Build Video
BM LINX—the Manhattan three-piece featuring songwriter/producer Tony Diodore (guitar and lead vocals), Andrew Griffiths (drums) and Jonathan Murray (bass)—formed in 2005 with the goal of creating genre-transcending music with a message. The result, as heard on their sophomore album Black Entertainment (Craze Factory Entertainment), is a mix of electro-beats, sinister melodies and body-shaking guitar riffs.
Black Entertainment was recorded in NYC at Stratosphere Sound Studios, which is co-owned by Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha. The record was produced by Diodore and mixed at Assault & Battery Studios in the U.K. by Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode).
Check out the following video, in which Diodore travels back to his hometown of Marion, Indiana, where his cousin, Dave Reynolds, has created a crazy custom amp for him.
