Foo Fighters recorded their latest album, Wasting Light, in their lead singer's garage. Then they embarked on a tour playing in fans' garages as their only venues. The same band has also been nominated for six Grammys, sold out Wembley Stadium (twice) and been called our generation's answer to Tom Petty by Pitchfork.
Up against stiff competition from Cage The Elephant, The Black Keys and Mumford & Sons, Foo Fighters took home the MTV Video Music Award for Best Rock Video last night for the music video to "Walk." You can check video of the Foos collecting their award below.
Fresh from their headlining performance at Lollapalooza, the Foo Fighters have added to major shows to their fall U.S. tour. The Foos will play the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. on November 11, and Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 13.
