They may be an "unofficial" news source, but fan website Van Halen News Desk has been pretty spot on with getting the inside scoop surrounding what's been a pretty mysterious Van Halen camp as of late.
Two videos have recently appeared online featuring Van Halen lead singer David Lee Roth having an interview-style conversation with Eddie Van Halen about the good 'ole days, including chats about Wet t-shirt contests and Ed's old Volvo. You can listen to the conversation in the clips below.
Tickets for Van Halen's upcoming 2012 tour don't go on sale until the 10th, but the band aren't waiting to give a lucky handful of music industry folks a taste of what's to come. The band will be playing an intimate gig at New York City's Cafe Wha? this Thursday, January 5.
After a long wait and much speculation, Van Halen have officially confirmed that they will be on tour in 2012.
