Eddie Van Halen to Enter Rehab
Related Content
According to a statement issued by publicist Janie Liszewski of High Profile Media, Eddie Van Halen has decided to enter a rehab center. In the statement, Eddie said, “I would like Van Halen fans to know how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you. Without you there is no Van Halen.
“I have always and will always feel a responsibility to give you my best. At the moment I do not feel that I can give you my best. That's why I have decided to enter a rehabilitation facility to work on myself, so that in the future I can deliver the 110 percent that I feel I owe you and want to give you.
“Some of the issues surrounding the 2007 Van Halen tour are within my ability to change and some are not. As far as my rehab is concerned, it is within my ability to change and change for the better. I want you to know that is exactly what I'm doing, so that I may continue to give you the very best I am capable of.
“I look forward to seeing you in the future better than ever and I thank you with all my heart.”

I think it's great that he's going to rehab. He's a great musician and has lots of talent. He shouldn't give that up. What was his addiction again? I know this great alcohol rehab center that my friend went to. It helped her greatly. Good luck in rehab!

hello Eddie my name is Eddie A Padilla.Im 17 years old and from the last 6 years you have been an inspiration to me. I play guitar, piano and drumms for more yham 6 years now (guitar is my specialty). i have a band called Angel of fire.i tell you all this because what im doing you have done it a long time ago. that is rocking the best we can. I canT imagine how difficult is the process you are going throught right now whit this situation.whe i heard you were reuniting again on a tour all i could think of was of van halen comming to Puerto Rico again so i can see you and if i was lucky met you personally.when i read tha you are trying to work hard to deliver a 110 percent because tha was you owed us i started to think about an d to tell you the truth it is us who we owe you. becuse you were the one who set the example at the beginnig and you are the one that keeps being an example and the one who change the way of playing guitar. you are a heroe do not let anyone tell you the opposite and what makes you more than a heroe is tha the mistakes you have done you are fixxing them and that is one example im gonna follow. i ther is a posibilitie if you that you dont read this comment but if you read it please think about it as a token of apreciation for inspiring me to be a better young person in this future and as a young mussician who wants to grow up to be like you.You have my support 100% and i have faith in you that you are gonna make it. If my dream come true i would like to give you my msn to see if ican talk to you is crazy_vanhalen@hotmail.com. thank you Eddie for bieng one of the persons i follow examples in life.

Dude, at least he is being honest. He didn't have to tell us such personal information. I would'nt have the guts to tell anyone, "Hey, fellas, I gonna go to rehab!", ya know?
He cares about us,(the fans) and he was willing to tell us this information about it himself.
I would have honestly liked to hear this from Eddie than from the Associated Press just trying to eat it up.
Go get clean, Eddie, so you can give it all you got!
