All of the inclusions are unquestionably very good. Glad to see Jimmy Bryant is not forgotten.

The exclusions.....

Scotty Anderson, Brent Mason, Danny Gatton, Roy Clark & Jerry Reed (IMHO) should have been in the top 10. It might have been an idea to compile an essential top 20 list to include some of the missing titans.

Just my two cents worth

These are all quite good. Albert Lee is one bad ass guitar player.
Yes Roy Clark should have been added to the list and maybe Vince Gill and Jerry Reed. But the ones on here are still very good.
Them country players really know how to play guitar. I remember reading once that Ritchie Blackmore said he didn't want to come near Nashville cause of the great guitar players there.

Damn straight. My dad went to one of his concerts ( I had to work ) and said that Roy said "This is what the young kids like to listen to" and played half a minute of Led Zeppelin and rocked out, then said "But this is what I like" and went into "Guitar Boogie" Awesome picker.

Yep, they ignored Roy Clark, Hank Snow, Chet Atkins, Luther Perkins, Dwayne Eddy, James Burton, and a whole slew of other country pickers, but they included that down home country-fied type of guy who is known far and wide for his genuine bonefied country stylin'...Steve Morse! Oh wait, isn't he a FUSION GUY??? But hey...at least they had somebody *impersonating* the real country pickers, right? gaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

I will never again visit this website, as Roy Clark is not mentioned once in this monstrosity of an article.
