I remember way back in the day, I bought one of Vaughan's DVDs. I think it was a performance in Texas somewhere, but I just remember being blown away -- a major reason I kept playing guitar.

Yep !

And to tell you the truth, i have been exactly like you ... Focused on SRV until I decided to let him go to find still living talented guitarists.

When I come back to SVR and listen to my favorite songs from him ... I just appreciate them even more than before. It makes me realize that he was really special.
