Former Iron Maiden Drummer Clive Burr Dead at 56

Clive's contribution to metal, along with D'Anno's, somehow gets overlooked I think. To me anyone who was a part of that band would have to be looked at individually like you look at members of the Beatles, or Zeppelin as far as what they brought to the genre. The musicianship plus the chemistry they had was pretty rare. The first 2 albums plus Maiden Japan are really amazing records. Especially for that time - the raw energy is through the roof. Thanks a lot Clive for helping to 'open the door'.

Thank you for introducing your drumming and being there for Iron Maiden
