Man, I read 'The Dirt', and even before that, I had a lot of respect for Mick because I knew he had some sort of bone disorder. After reading the book and realizing what he's been going through for most of his life with that bone disease, I HAVE GOT to respect the man for continuing to play and never giving up. Is he the best player out there? No, but MAN that guy's got a lot of heart to keep doing what he's been doing for so long, through the pain and discomfort and everything. A lot of guys would have probably given up midway through the Theater of Pain tour!!
Exactly. See, this man has taste in books and music.

I like Tommy. Tommy is cool. Actually, the only one I don't really like is Vince. Nikki is pretty cool too. Tommy though, he's not the 'best' drummer out there, but it's fun to watch him play, he's just raw energy. It's not always the most technical playing - but rock music isn't always about technical proficiency. When I see Tommy play in a live clip, you can tell he's just having fun and giving every ounce of energy he has.

I'm just messin' with blackhell1, I don't really have a problem with them.

I like watching the clips where they're spinning Tommy around in the cage thing while he's playing. I think that was on the Theater of Pain tour.

I used to have a huge poster of him in that cage upside down with the pyrotechnics going off on my wall when I was a teenager.

it might have been Girls, Girls, Girls. I think it was the clip for "wild side" that had the rotating kit.

Maybe it was. I'm not sure.

I agree. I have a Charvel Avenger (Rhoads style) a V bass, and a Gibby shaped V project and I love them all. They are comfortable to me and look badass. the only problem is finding a case that fits.

Rondo has inexpensive cases for V's...gig bags are almost useless for them (except for around the house, just to keep 'em dust free & clean), because the bottom points can get chipped & broken so easily.

SKB makes a V case, I'm sure it will fit Gibsons or Gibson shaped V's, not sure about others though.
