Negative Series by EpiphoneSaw this in a local music paper/magazine. I cannot find info on them anywhere. (Hence the pic I took of the add itself)
These must be very limited run through Long & Mcquade because they've been know to partner with manufactuers on special limited edition equipment. The Flying V and Explorer seem interesting. I'm going to head down there this weekend I think. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. My Rig:

Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneCool...I like 'em.
Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneBetter then most of the products they've pinched off in the past couple years. I don't quite understand why it needs to be a special 'series' though.
Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneDo not understand. Are the pics in the ad pics of the actual guitars? If so that's retarded, It's just like black and white. Not at all like a negative image of a photograph. That would be quite a letdown.

Re: Negative Series by Epiphone
seriously?
Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneI think they're cool, but they are kinda running out of good ideas, aren't they?
Re: Negative Series by EpiphonePersonally I think they're pretty ugly. And I think Skylark is right, it's pretty uncreative on their part.

Re: Negative Series by Epiphonei like them. it does kind of look like they took a cue from ibanez and charvel though.
Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneYeah, the only guitar they've made in a while that's different, or even original looking...is the EM-2 (and it's Epi-Active pickups). It is cool looking though, nice blue color too.

Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneI just like the thought of a white Flying V or Explorer with a maple fretboard.

Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneI agree...it's a cool idea, but they're not exactly ground-breaking new guitar designs, are they?
Re: Negative Series by Epiphone
I agree, Jackson has had a Dinky out with the same color scheme and fret board I've been pawning over for awhile. Fender Twin (68 Silverface)
ADA MP-1 / Marshall 9100 Avatar and Sonic cabs Fender / Heritage / Gibson / Jackson / Charvel / Misc.
Re: Negative Series by EpiphoneNo they're not, thankfully. Because all new guitar designs and shapes these days look horrible. My Rig:

Re: Negative Series by Epiphone
a DK2M? i had one. i got it on clearance from GC for 275.99 and i was glad i didnt pay anymore than that for it. the frets were rusty and it just felt kind of low quality. i sold it. no love lost.
