Negative Series by Epiphone

Saw this in a local music paper/magazine. I cannot find info on them anywhere. (Hence the pic I took of the add itself)
These must be very limited run through Long & Mcquade because they've been know to partner with manufactuers on special limited edition equipment.
The Flying V and Explorer seem interesting. I'm going to head down there this weekend I think.

Better then most of the products they've pinched off in the past couple years. I don't quite understand why it needs to be a special 'series' though.

Do not understand. Are the pics in the ad pics of the actual guitars? If so that's retarded, It's just like black and white. Not at all like a negative image of a photograph. That would be quite a letdown.

Personally I think they're pretty ugly. And I think Skylark is right, it's pretty uncreative on their part.

Yeah, the only guitar they've made in a while that's different, or even original looking...is the EM-2 (and it's Epi-Active pickups). It is cool looking though, nice blue color too.

I just like the thought of a white Flying V or Explorer with a maple fretboard.

I agree...it's a cool idea, but they're not exactly ground-breaking new guitar designs, are they?

I agree, Jackson has had a Dinky out with the same color scheme and fret board I've been pawning over for awhile.

No they're not, thankfully. Because all new guitar designs and shapes these days look horrible.
