If they have the fretboard inlays as black, i think it would have been awesome to make the fretboard look like its pearl.Or silver at least.Or maybe even make the body of the guitar look pearl.Anyway, I dont really think they ae that awesome.

They should've used a pearlescent paint on them, it would've given them a classier look IMO. That's what I did to my white guitar...it was just too plain looking.

I can almost get a used Gibson Faded Flying V for that...I'll live with faded black or worn cherry for that.

lets face it guys, there hasn't been a practical breakthrough in guitar design since the 80's superstrat and all that did was have deeper cutaways. Pretty much everything else was all cosmetic.

Isn't it amazing that you can get a toaster to make a Darth Vader toast...but gibson, with all their clout, engineering & money can't come up with better ideas for guitars than that? ...sad, but true.
