It's well chronicled here at GuitarWorld.com what happens when a guitar spin move goes wrong, but we still can't help but post reminders to encourage you to correct your guitar-swinging ways.

This video comes via Stuff, and features a guitarist who put a little too much elbow grease into his spin move.

There's got to be nothing worse than the helpless feeling of realizing you left your strap locks at home while you watch your guitar fly through the air behind you.

I hate it for the guy. But watching the drummer watch a guitar go sailing through the air was funny. I laughed!!

Dude....was that, like, your guitar that just flew by?

This would be a good ad for straplocks, not to mention straps themselves. It would also work for chiropractors.

Personally, I never felt the urge to swing or otherwise endanger anyone with a falling guitar. Not that my main Strat wouldn't be damaged, but it's FAR more likely to hurt someunluckyckly enough to be underneath as it weighs a ton . . .
