Ugh. This should have been the final showdown.

I had to go with Dio on this one, but I still have ridiculous respect for Merc as a singer. It really is a shame these two met this early.

But, really, why was Randy Blythe here? Should've been Myles Kennedy or Steve Perry; two of the most talented vocalists I have ever heard.

Well Dee Snyder is not in it, so I absolutely had no choice but to vote for Dio.

I hated voting for this poll....I'm a fan of both- especially Dio. He is a metal god. But I had to put my heart aside and vote Freddie- his voice is clear with tons of range, not quite as much schtick as Dio. - just a super talented singer. Sorry my metal brahs-

anyone who did not vote DIO is a idiot

Both absolutely fantastic vocalists.

But the death of Ronnie James Dio saddened me more when I heard he left us.

Something about the music he made that brought out a desire in me to flip on my amp switch and grab an axe more than music by Queen.

RJD, you got my vote....

Hmm...let's see. Which do I vote for, a fairy or an Elf? lol

They both are very good vocalists, but Dio better fits the sound and image of what a rock vocalist should be.

Here is an outstanding live rehearsal of Rainbow - Gates of Babylon:

It's okay, Dio, you're number one in my book.

Ronnie James Dio has an awesome voice, but I have to give the nod to Freddy

as stated, it's a shame this happened here, these two should really have met in the final

Probably going to be the toughest matchup in this entire shindig, it's a shame it's only round 2 when this happens. I voted Freddie.
