Try this https://s3.amazonaws.com/guitarworldvideo/John5-5.mov looks like GW didn't use the correct file type in the link download, they have .mo instead of .mov

I can not download a thing (video content)...come on guys, this should not be that difficult. I would not have got rid of the cd roms until you figured out how to do this, and do it quickly!!! Please look into this problem, you have a great magazine, but all I have heard from fellow guitar players is how screwed up your site is. Good luck.

Jeff, one word: THANKS! By the way, you might want to create a subscriber only access for the downloads. That might cut down on a lot of comments here. Appreciate you listening and enabling downloads. Cheers, rick

Thanks Rick...and could you imagine the comments if we restricted the downloads to subscribers only? Lol...we can't ever win! Appreciate the support brother!

Hey Jeff, I know this is probably not the location to post this, but I couldn't find an appropriate location on the site to ask about technical issues with the website. The customer service link at the bottom of the page looks like it is for the magazine-only questions... anyways, I am logged-in to the GW site with my user account and when I click on the ARTISTS section an alphabetical sub-menu listing appears. I click on the letter 'G' and all the artists listed starting with 'G' then appear. However, when I click on GREEN DAY, I get an error message stating 'ACCESS DENIED', 'You are not authorized to access this page'. The direct URL is: http://www.guitarworld.com/green-day
I don't know if the site is bunked or it is just my PC, but I am able to access all the other artists just fine. I think there is a user-rights issue with the Green Day folder on the server.
One other question I had was regarding song transcriptions. I have been a subscriber for a while now and was looking for a comprehensive listing (perhaps electronic or online index) of issue #s and their corresponding song transcriptions. I cannot find anything on the site and I have a mountain of GW magazines. I purchased 'The Complete History of Guitar World' and it will be delivered soon in hopes that this book may contain something like that. I thought something like had existed at one time. Thanks for your time and attention in advance.

Apple SlowTime videos??? You gotta be kidding!
Won't work on my smartphone either.
Not everyone uses rotten Apple devices you know.
Can't even get them to download without bombing out.
C- for the effort...

The videos are encoded exactly the way they were on the CD-ROM...we didn't put them here so that every smartphone user could use the videos. The videos on the site work with pretty much every device we've tested them on...Apple, Android, etc.
These download videos were designed to be used on a computer like the disc was...we never said it was the "perfect solution for all smartphone users."
