Hear It First: Fu Manchu "Gargantuan March"
While the leisure and good vibes of summer are restricted to an all-too-brief three months for most of us, for the last 20 years, SoCal stoner rock stalwarts Fu Manchu have managed to exist in a most excellent and endless summer of their own creation, full of heavy riffs, muscle cars, science fiction, skateboarding and sunshine.
On October 20, the four-piece--vocalist/guitarist Scott Hill, bassist Brad Davis, guitarist Bob Balch and drummer Scott Reeder--will release Signs of Infinite Power, their 10th album of heavy Seventies-rock tones, punk energy and psychedelic freakouts.
The album was recorded at Maple Studios in Santa Ana, CA, by the band and producer Sergio Chavez (Motorhead, Helmet).
"We’re stoked to unleash Signs of Infinite Power because we feel that it’s the best record that we’ve ever made,” says Hill. “We can’t believe that we’re going into our twentieth year as a band. The excitement and energy levels that we’re feeling right now are as high as they’ve ever been.”
To celebrate this release, we’re pleased to offer you the exclusive preview of "Gargantuan March,” the first single from Signs of Infinite Power.
