Indeed, but if only he had "family" to handle it corectly. Unfortunately even his blood relatives amounted to no more than"hangar-ons". Sad.

Remember when people complained about Alan Douglas's handling of the Hendrix legacy and demanded that it be given to his family? I hope those people are shaking their heads over what that has wrought.

No, this is the product of a opportunist taking advantage. She screwed his dad out of his stake had no relationship with Jimi. Pure prostitution.

If you can't make any money on records because of file sharing and you are too dead to concert tour you sell the brand. Everyone from the Beatles to Lady Gaga has done it so learn to deal with it. At least its not WalMart.

Just another way for hipsters to pretend to be Hendrix fans... posers... I can't even comment on the ethics of this.

I really sick to my stomach.

Plus if it's at Bloomingdale's, it's not going to be exactly affordable. I'm sure Jimi would be angered as he was dedicated to getting is message out to everyone, not just those who can afford to pay inflated prices for replicas of his clothes . . .

Could the line be done by a company any more "PLASTIC"? A$$holes.

It is a coincidence that there is a posting and discussion about Jimi Hendrix clothes and style on Kathy Etchingham's facebook page.
She knows more than anyone else about his clothes but I doubt that the stepsister - Janie "Hendrix" asked her opinion.

This is the worst thing I seen done with Jimi's name. WHoever's in chatge of his image should be shot. Bloomingdale's? Are you serious??!! Jimi's probably spinning in his grave, if they have sold that too. The sad thing is that Jimi was a beautiful, peaceful soul that just wanted to live free and play and people have done nothing but rip him off, abuse him, ride off his talent. And it's happened in life AND in death. I have to agree with the guy that said the fans should boycott. Although I can't image a lot of Hendrix fans shopping in Bloomingdales. It'll be a bunch of douchebag hipsters that wear Bob Marley shirts and think that makes them musically cultured. RIP Jimi, you deserve it...

It is disgusting the way his stepsister(Experience Hendrix) has prostituted his name and made large amounts of cash off a a man she barely knew.A clothing line? Really? This is just another insult. The fans should boycott this. and everything else Experience Hendrix does.
