John5 is my hero...I have his other two CD's Vertigo and Songs for Sanity, he has truly grown into an amazing and kick ass guitarist, just when i thought he couldn't get any better, besides he been playing for 29 years! google slapper 2.0 | commission payload review

I don't care how black your heart is, how many tats you have, or how talented you are. It doesn't matter if you're John5, Zakk, or Buckethead...CHICKEN PICKIN has NO place in metal music!
It sucks in a metal context, you might as well wear a straw hat and chew on a strand of wheat when you do it.
It sounds wrong every time, no matter how much distortion or effects you throw on top of it.
Leave that garbage in Nashville where it belongs!

I disagree about your comment. I think the lick he put in there fits perfectly. The whole satanic sound it provides is amazing. Don't see how you would think otherwise.

The sounds in "the washing away of wrong" are incredible...do you write a riff or song and then get together with Zombie or is it something that gradually builds from the ground up? I don't have much problems writing leads that stand alone, but then that can also turn into me sounding like I'm just jamming. Sometimes when I write things especially rhythms I don't know where to go with it or what I should have accompany it. Is there something that you could sugest that I study on to peace things together better? Thanks for the help.

I am familiar with a lot of your work, but you also mentioned some bands in there that I didn't know like the Scorpions. Where did you get your start? The bends that you're doing on the headstock were awesome...where did the inspiration from that come from? Thanks
