1) Drag Me to Hell

"Drag Me to Hell is a pretty awesome modern one, as far as gore goes. That old woman in it is freaky! All that embalming fluid coming out of her mouth was wrong...and awesome. In seeing it, it made me realize even though Sam Raimi can scare the hell out of you, he likes his horror movies to be goofy. I would rather have it not goofy, but that’s his style. He’ll make you chuckle and scare the shit outta you."

2) A Nightmare on Elm Street

"When you look at it now, it’s goofy as hell. But for when it came out it was pretty riveting. The follow-ups got even goofier down the line, but the first Nightmare on Elm Street is rad."

3) Event Horizon

"I do most of my movie watching on the tour bus, and this is one of the ones I watch a lot. I guess you could classify Event Horizon as horror. It's awesome."

6) House on Haunted Hill

"They made a sequel [Return to House on Haunted Hill] that went straight to DVD, which I was surprised about because it was actually good. But the first one was awesome. I play it on the tour bus all the time."
