By now, bands know the equation that "controversy = ticket sales" well, and two of the bands that know it better than almost anyone else are Kiss and Motley Crue.

Last night at around 5:30 p.m. EST, Kiss and Motley Crue officially announced that they would be embarking on a massive co-headlining North American tour. "The Tour," as it has been simply titled, kicks off July 20 in Bristow, Virginia, and will see Kiss closing each night. We may have had to wait two decades between 1989's Trouble Walkin' and 2009's Anomaly, but Ace Frehley is a busy man these days and won't keep us waiting so long for a new album this time.
