Any song that you can take out of its original genre and it still sounds good is a song well written. Both Ozzy's and Charles Bradley's versions are great, in their own way. Kudos to Black Sabbath for taking their influences and crafting a soul classic, while still being recognizably Black Sabbath.

Now I need to hear Charles Bradley do his own take on that slice of 1970s misogyny, Stranglehold, by Ted Nugent. I have an old phaser he can borrow for the bass line...
