The Shred King ...

This is a great guideline. I've always jumped around from lick to lick. Kind of like a fat kid at the candy store. By isolating the lick for five straight minutes of focused repetition you begin to get that feeling of achievement. I started with 12 licks at 5 minutes and was able to feel the burn. 20 is demanding but possible with continued practice.
