good music today is hard to find. its either 12 year old disney boy bands or the kids of washed up 80s and 90s artists.why cant we have more bands like the foo fighters or have crazy good guitarists like eddie van halen. MUSIC NEEDS CHANGE RIGHT NOW.

Look, I'm not saying nothing bad about Randy Rhoads, but I would like to tell you all about MY favourite guitarist and the person that made me learn to play guitar. Mr. Jake E. Lee, Guitar World never so much as mentions his name and obviously never transcribes any Jake "era" songs. He was called the "guitar ninja" and he could burn the fretboard with ease. Bark at the Moon, Rock and Roll Rebel, Lightning Strikes, Killer of Giants, The Ultimate Sin, or even Shot in the Dark would be great lessons for any new Ozzy fan or even old Ozzy fans. Over the Mountain was transcibed a few years ago, I believed it had Aerosmith on the cover, I have to go back to Guitar Legends 2000 Issue 37 for a transcription of Bark at the Moon. Think we could get some Jake "era" Ozzy songs transcibed?

well, fyi i understand what your saying, but i vote for "stupid". why would anyone want to listen to this stuff. i grew up listening to "real" hair bands, and some of them actually had things to contribute to the genre. admitted, there was some arogance involved with some, but that was a different time, and those guys were the originals.

looks like a killer issue. i can't wait to get my hands on one.

i just had to comment on the steele panther dude.could he be any more full of himself? you should cut out all things concerning him in this upcoming issue and not subject your readers to his arrogance. other than that , the issue looks great, especially the r.r. tutorial. he was one of my earliest influences and has changed metal forever.RIP randy!

FYI Steel Panther is a mock hair band. It's supposed to be a parody of the egotistical atti'dude' of glam guitarists, but in this case it's a fine line between clever and stupid.

It looks like "New Fang" by the Crooked Vultures.

If you all right click the little magazine picture and click 'open link in new tab/window', you can see the large picture without the video covering up the tab part (or scroll down a little when the picture is showing to move the video out of the way).

looks like we have, what i can read: Black Dog by Led Zep.
Over the Mountain by Ozzy
Psychosocial by Slipknot
I think Set to Fail by Lamb of God
Then something by The Crooked Vultures
