New P.O.D. CD Gets Jay Baumgardner Treatment
Megaprodücer Jay Baumgardner has been tapped to produce and mix the new P.O.D. record, set for release early next year on INO/Columbia Records.
Baumgardner is known for his überproduction and mixing skills on behalf of Evanescence, Helmet, Orgy, Seether, Papa Roach, Alien Ant Farm and Godsmack, among others. His touch has helped guide some of the most innovative and energetic artists of the last decade.
Baumgardner has also lent his mixing talents to Powerspace on their recent The Kicks of Passion, released on Fueled by Ramen, as well as the Don Gilmore produced Scary Kids Scaring Kids, self-titled album set for release later this month.
Currently, Baumgardner is president of NRG Recording Studios, in North Hollywood, CA. The studio has been the source of award-winning music by Melissa Etheridge and 311.
