this looks like the best issue in a long time. Props for featuring one of the best guitarist of all time that was cut down before he even hit his prime!!! Cant wait for it to come out.

Can anybody read what the transcriptions are?

looks like we have, what i can read: Black Dog by Led Zep.
Over the Mountain by Ozzy
Psychosocial by Slipknot
I think Set to Fail by Lamb of God
Then something by The Crooked Vultures

It looks like "New Fang" by the Crooked Vultures.

If you all right click the little magazine picture and click 'open link in new tab/window', you can see the large picture without the video covering up the tab part (or scroll down a little when the picture is showing to move the video out of the way).

i just had to comment on the steele panther dude.could he be any more full of himself? you should cut out all things concerning him in this upcoming issue and not subject your readers to his arrogance. other than that , the issue looks great, especially the r.r. tutorial. he was one of my earliest influences and has changed metal forever.RIP randy!

FYI Steel Panther is a mock hair band. It's supposed to be a parody of the egotistical atti'dude' of glam guitarists, but in this case it's a fine line between clever and stupid.

well, fyi i understand what your saying, but i vote for "stupid". why would anyone want to listen to this stuff. i grew up listening to "real" hair bands, and some of them actually had things to contribute to the genre. admitted, there was some arogance involved with some, but that was a different time, and those guys were the originals.
