Why is everybody hating on Jack White when The Edge is obviously the most overrated guitarist on the cover? Seriously, the man plays the same boring sounding stuff on almost every U2 song. Like or dislike Jack White, but He's a helluva lot better than The Edge has ever been or ever will be. Besides, in past Guitar World interviews Page has voiced his respect for White, and I think his opinion matters more than most of you narrow minded guitarists who have probably only heard a few White Stripes songs. Sometimes there's a beauty to simplicity, but many guitarists sadly fail to notice that. Like or dislike Jack White's tone, style, etc. But the man has written far more memorable riffs than most posters on Guitar World will ever write, and definitely more than The Edge ever has in his boring career.

although Jack White is the new generation frontmen i would have recommended Brian May to be with edge and Jimmy Page seeing its a documentary about guitar and Brian made his from scratch what would be better than that!!!

The director picked those three for the movie...they're on the cover for that particular reason. Is this a monthly debate on here about who should be on the cover? And folks putting down fellow musicians shows how shallow and petty you are, even if you have superior playing ability, we all have our unique approaches, you would all kill to have come up with(and made money from) the memnorable and endlessly imitated riffs those three have come up with.
