This week I’m going to talk a little about how we wrote and recorded the new All Shall Perish album, This Is Where It Ends, that just came out this summer. We started writing some of the material while on tour in Europe last year in September.
Scott Ian -- who can be seen at left in his Zombie makeup for an upcoming episode of the TV series Walking Dead -- recently talked to Revolver magazine about his favorite zombie movies, books and TV shows.
Dutch progressive metal band Textures have just premiered the second track off their upcoming studio album, Dualism, on Revolver's website. The track, titlted "Reaching Home," can be heard at this location.
A lot of people didn't think Ministry would ever come back, not the least of which was Al Jourgensen. When it was announced that Ministy would be playing Wacken in 2012, no one was sure if it was a one-off date or if there would be more to come from the industrial powerhouse.
After splitting from hard-rock band Johnny Crash which also featured a couple of guys by the name of Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed in the early '90s, guitarist Mark August needed a break from rock 'n' roll. August spent some time as an electronica DJ, founded a highly successful tattoo artist supply company called Skincandy, before finally -- in 2009 -- strapping a guitar back on and recording his first solo album, Mindfuck.
