Nine Inch Nails To Reissue Debut Album

In a posting on the official Nine Inch Nails website, Trent Reznor has announced the re-issue of the band's seminal debut album, Pretty Hate Machine, for this fall. The album has been fully remastered by Reznor and Tom Baker, with long-time NIN art director Rob Sheridan providing a reinterpreted version of Gary Talpas' original cover artwork.

Reznor, who has been especially vocal about his catalog falling into the wrong hands after having no involvement in the 2008 vinyl re-issue of The Downward Spiral, had this to say on the chance to remaster his first album: "It’s been an interesting trip watching the fate of this record float from one set of hands to another (a long and depressing story) but it’s finally wound up in friendly territory, allowing us to polish it up a bit and present it to you now. We had fun revisiting this old friend, hope you enjoy."

The remastered, repackaged Pretty Hate Machine hits shelves this November 22nd.
