In an interview with the Metro, Paul McCartney said he sometimes finds it hard to believe he was in The Beatles. McCartney added that he's happy the novelty of being in the most important band in the history of rock and roll still hadn't faded for him.

It was 30 years ago this spring -- March 1982 -- that Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder topped the US and UK charts with their duet, "Ebony and Ivory," off McCartney's Tug of War album. The release of McCartney's new album, Kisses On The Bottom, sees them reunited on one track, "Only Our Hearts," one of two McCartney compositions on the album, a collection of standards McCartney grew up listening to.

There was no mania quite as manic as Beatlemania, and it was at its undisputed height in 1964. In February, The Beatles had conquered the United States, the birthplace of their rock and roll idols, appearing twice on the Ed Sullivan Show and performing pandemonium-inducing shows at the Washington Coliseum and Carnegie Hall.

Representatives for Paul McCartney have confirmed that his new album, which will be released February 7, will be called Kisses On The Bottom.
