Hey Dark13, the bridge pickup on the Explorer is a cream colored burstbucker. Your logic is if the car in by driveway is different, then the road must have changed also... Well Dark13, the tonal differences between an Explorer and a Les Paul are minimal at best. I have owned them both and they sound very much the same, especially with a burstbucker in the bridge. The point of the review is the Plexitube, not the tonal differences in solid body, set-neck guitars. Grow up!

Article states: "...I plugged the Tonebone Plexitube and a Burstbucker-loaded Les Paul."

It's pretty obvious that is not a Les Paul, does that mean the amp is not the same? It's important to reader to know the exact equipment from amp to guitar and how you record it to make an accurate assessment of any pedal. Please reciprocate. Thanks.
