Readers' Poll: Eric Clapton's Top 10 Guitar Albums
Well, you've had a week to voice your opinion on Eric Clapton's best guitar album, and here are the results of the poll, shown from 10 to 1.
The top two albums, I'd say, were big-time favorites (and they won by a mile), but it really was a guessing game after that. You'll find that, pretty much, Clapton's whole career is represented here -- minus his days with The Yardbirds and The Powerhouse.
By the way, has anyone bought his brand-new album, Wynton Marsalis & Eric Clapton Play The Blues? If so, tell us what you think in the comments below. I've heard it ... and let's just say it's not in danger of cracking the top 10 in future "guitar album" polls.
See you when we do our next best-guitar-album poll!

Derek and the Dominos, "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" was as much about Duane Allman as Eric Clapton. Without Duane and his slide Layla is just another song (album). Clapton's not God, just a good guitar player. (Am I going to hell for saying it, I don't care!)
