The album that changed my life was Grand Funk Railroad "LIVE". I was playing drums at the time as a teenager and I liked Don Brewer's style. A buddy of mine that also played drums turned me on to it. I was just picking up the guitar a little bit and I was Blown Away by Mark Farner and immediately started spending more time on the guitar. Then we met a guy in middle school that wanted to play bass and we turned him onto Mel Schacher and the rest is history. We formed a garage band that lasted for about 8 years through school and into our early 20's. I still love sitting around playing those old INSIDE LOOKING OUT "POWER CHORDS".
