That's kinda mean mooseboy! Maybe he should have had someone watching it a bit more closely, but I could never tell someone they should not play a guitar they had made for them. But then again I've never understood owning collectable guitars that I can't use. If I own it, I want to play it.

Okay, let me start this rant out with the following:

1.) I'm glad that Zakk got his guitar back.
2.) Anybody that steals a guitar is an assbag.

Now for the real meat of this missive:

Anybody stupid enough to pay $10,000 for a Gibson guitar (read: Zakk Wylde) is just askin' for it. The salesman really saw this dummy coming.

Anybody stupid enough to take a $10,000 guitar out on tour (read: Zakk Wylde) is just askin' for it.

I agree with both of your two points, but do you really think that Zakk Wylde paid $10,000 to Gibson for this guitar?? Seriously? Even Zakk's signature models don't fetch $10K. I think that price was estimated based on the fact that it's one of his personal guitars (which factors into your last line...any guitar he touches is gonna instantly have mucho value added to it, so it makes that point moot).

Zakk was probably given this Les Paul free and placed that insane insurance estimate on it.

Valued at 10K... to who exactly? If you truly think any guitar is worth that your head is buried deep up your pretentious ass.

These pawn store guys are theives. Even a beat up les Paul is worth more then that. They know this shit is stolen and they just hope it's not on the list. If it wasn't stolen why wouldn't you just take it to a music store? They'll pay more then $50.

The poor folks play for keeps down here. They are the living dead. Sad that a Les Paul only brings $50.00.

My stolen bicycle which was valued at $500.00, was sold for a $20.00 Crack rock.
That is stupid enough, but a Gibson being pawned for $50.00?
What a dumbass.

No cameras in the pawn shop?

And i just noticed that someone restrung it cuz Zakk wraps his strings around the back of the tail piece, not straight thru.
