Joe explained in a Premier Guitar rig rundown that he's the one who went for noise gate as opposed to reverb. And yes Paul does have the best job ever. Wonder if they watch him into the parking lot to make sure he doesn't walk out with stuff??

I prefiere with reverb rather than the noise gate. That' silly, why didn't Marshall install both of them in the head?

I haven't tried the Satriani model but I like my "regular" JVM 410. I like having reverb on my amp and prefer it over noise gate. I think Paul really sums things up very well in his final comments. There is a ton of different tones and options this amp offers. It's the best amp I've ever owned, and highly recomend it.

From Paul: "It's a stock Gibson Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul #2 with Page's custom wiring for the pickups. Basically, Gibson Burstbuckers hand wound to Page's specs."

Thanks, Paul .......do you prefer the Page setup to the 50's wiring?
