Review: Super-Vee Mag-Lok Tremolo Anti-Deflection Device
This video related to the March 2012 issue of Guitar World. For the full text and tablature for the column, you can pick up the issue of newsstands now or in our online store.
In the following video, Guitar World's Paul Riario reviews a unique item, the Super-Vee Mag-Lok anti-deflection device. The Mag-Lok uses rare-earth magnets to keep a floating tremolo system from moving when strings are bent, so that double-stop bends remain in tune.

In your review in the magazine, you posted LIST price at $44.95, which usually means, retail should be around $34... But, on their website, they're selling the Mag-Lok for $59.95. So, as soon as they got a little exposure, they decide to rip people off?

I just got mine for $44.95. It works beautifully! And it DOES work with locking trem's also. I have an Ibanez JS1000BP with a Floyd Rose and it was incredibly easy to install. I love it!
