Awesome tip!

I will share one too.

When soloing over a 9 chord, go to the 5th of the root and play the major scale. I think it would be considered a mixolydian scale based on the relationship to the root.

Ex. Em9 chord, play A major scale.

The beginning of Affirmation by George Benson is an example of this relationship. Super Jazzy feel with a scale we all know.
