I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and I still practice scales.
I like to set my keyboard to a rhythym Am or whatever and just play scales to that. That helps take the boredom out of it. Its good to keep changing keys and play the scales up and down the neck.

just the warm-up i was looking for. also, hate to be that guy, but in the first example the next to last note should be 8th fret, not 7th.
