Hi GW:
I agree with the above writers - can we have access again to the great transcriptions by guys like Andy A? I own a couple of his DVDs; the guy does a great job.
Thanks.

I sent you an email.

Wow imagine the heartbreak of millions of guitar players who have read your magazine and salivated for new tabs each issue! It was the reason your mag was at the top of everyones list! Bigggggggg mistake!

I would really like to see a tab for Stop off of the Supersessions album by Bloomfield, Kooper and Stephen Stills. That is a rockin song.

I would like to see the TAB for Argent's version of: "God Gave Rock & Roll to You". The dynamics are great.

Another great TAB would be Marshall Tucker's "This Old Cowboy" Beautiful jazz oriented opening riff. Help a brother out guys and maybe post in a future issue or two.

Question- I was looking to create a new posting just for this question but was unable to find a proper link to start a new thread. The Guitar World store is only selling The Alchemical Guitarist part 2 which I have. Is there anybody out there that can point me in the right direction to find The Alchemical Guitarist part 1 on DVD? Before you say try e-bay or amazon ( I been there already) if you own it or want to negotiate with a fellow player it would be appreciated if a win win deal could be worked out.
thanks,

Guys -

I've enjoyed the magazine for the majority of the last 15+ years, looking forward to receiving a new set of tabs with each issue. The tabs are one attribute of your product that differentiates if from the rest and now it appears to be a thing of the past. To add insult to injury, the tabs section of the GW web site does not appear to be searchable any more. Instead, the readers must page through the content to find what they are after. Is this user error or what? And while we're at it, who gives a rat's sphincter about Beatles tabs ... please!

Lastly, I recently gave three (3) gift subscriptions to fellow players. I'm afraid four (4) subscriptions may now be at risk with the changes recently introduced. It seems we've taken a couple of giant steps backwards.

Tip - If it works don't fix it!

I have scanned every tab, every lesson, from each monthly GW magazine since 1994 (individually)! Doing so, has eliminated all the ads and unwanted crap and I'm able to cut right to the song or lesson I want in an instant. ANY TAKERS?

Ahh YES PLEASE! That would be sweet. I have been here for almost 4 years now and never bothered to do that so like everyone else I have look the month up that I think a certain lesson is in. Or look for a certain Tab. Not thrilled about the new format but im still a sucker for the mag. But if your willing to email the scaned ones, that would be swweet. The Gilbert column To my most recent memory is one of the best thats been on here.

And you know it would be alot easyer if Tolinski would use the digital player and let these things be downloadable to us as subscribers. It would make things alot easyer. Download what you want and dont download what you dont want.

Anyway, email if your willing is joefitness88@gmail.com just put something in the subject to let me know.

What the heck happened? I'm really missing all the tabs from you old mags. Fortunately I kept most of nine years worth, but I was going to quit. How bout bringin'em back and cataloguing so we can find the bloody things. Hell, I'd pay extra for it if we had to. Unreal! you had it, what happened>

winkelmann

Ok, this is not what I expected to find. I'm sure some like user submitted tabs, but give me a song transcribed by Andy Aledort anyday and I'll take that as something worth learning. I have them in my library of saved GW magazines, but they were once available on this site's TAB page and that was great since I don't have a master index for the magazine. What, did you run into a copyright conflict and have to take them down. The user submissions I've seen here are not worth the effort to post. Too, too bad GW.

The old tab site was way better, go back to that please! And what about online feature tabs from past issues?

avatar

murphcc1

WTF????? Where are the Tabs??

avatar

guitarslayer2005

The old page was superior to this. Updates should be a foward moving progression.

gregmein

This so called tab page is a disaster, how about some organization.

avatar

cflynt

If I subscribe to the magazine, will I be able to see the Guitar World tabs for current & old issues? Also, will I be able to search them as well?

mjpilgrim

Will Guitar World transcriptions be posted online again?

avatar

rjim

Not to sound too demanding, but will the tabs be organized/indexed ultimately?
