Twenty-five years ago Mike Rogers was in high school in Myrtle Beach, SC, playing drums in a band called Perfect Tommy. Now as a regular on the Grand Ole Opry stage playing with Craig Morgan he still remembers the first time he played there on April 15, 2002. Mike is an accomplished songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

There’s nothing quite like a really fine instrument. You touch it and it responds almost with a magnetism that draws you in. You play it and it’s as if everything you know and love about guitar comes into sharp focus. Here, to add to your yearning, are ten beautifully made guitars. Each worthy of your next daydream.
My first guitar was a classical, a Garcia, six nylon string classical. I don’t remember buying it, or having it bought for me, but it was the one I played in high school, listening to James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt records over and over and over so I could play them back faithfully.
Guitar World stopped by the Breedlove booth at the 2012 Winter NAMM show to find out their new Voice series of acoustic guitars. The Voice series is the result of a collaboration between Breedlove guitars and L.R. Baggs' Anthem TRU-VOICE technology. Basically, the guitars -- and there are six models in the Voice series -- will sound the same on stage, amplified, as it does unplugged in an intimate setting.
