Having been a cultural institution for almost 40 years now, there's no denying Saturday Night Live has been virtually intertwined with our culture since its inception. Not just for its musical guests, but for the edgy atmosphere of a live show where anything could happen, SNL definitely had its share of rock 'n' roll moments.
Elvis Costello and the Imposters -- including Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas and Davey Faragher -- have announced an extension of their Spinning Songbook tour. The tour, which started off as a two-week stint back in the spring, soon expanded to include 17 additional cities in June and July. The just-added dates are in September and October and find the band sticking to the East coast.
