We talked with guitarist Jon Hudson about the creative process for Faith No More's new album, Sol Invictus, what he did during the band’s 11-year touring hiatus and how technology has rocked his world.
This new album, which due in April 2015, is being recorded in an Oakland, California, studio with bassist Billy Gould handling production. The release will be the first from Faith No More’s new imprint, Reclamation Recordings, which will be distributed by vocalist Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings.
Over the action-packed weekend, Faith No More premiered two new songs at various festival appearances. The new songs — including "Leader of Men" (watch it below) and "Motherf—er" — represent the band’s first new music since 1997.
The long-awaited solo project from James "Munky" Shaffer of Korn, Fear and the Nervous System, has finally released a debut single. The single, titled "Choking Victim," can be downloaded for free via their official website.
