Guitar World visited the Taylor booth (It's more of a large room, actually) at last week's 2012 Winter NAMM show to check out several new models, including the 700 Series Nylon. One of Taylor's themes this year is the integration of their nylon-string models with their steel-string models, and the 700 Series Nylon is a good example. The guitar shares the same appointments as Taylor's 700 series, but with nylon strings and several other classical-style touches, including the long bridge.

One of the new models to be introduced at NAMM this past weekend by Dean Guitars is the limited-edition Dean USA DCR Vinnie Moore Vinman Koa. And by limited, we mean limited; only 15 of these guitars will be produced. Moore was one of many artists present at the Dean booth this past Saturday, and the UFO guitarist was happy to show off his new signature model. Fender Acoustics is continuing the trend by unveiling some new models -- and some improvements for 2012. Guitar World stopped by the Breedlove booth at the 2012 Winter NAMM show to find out their new Voice series of acoustic guitars. The Voice series is the result of a collaboration between Breedlove guitars and L.R. Baggs' Anthem TRU-VOICE technology. Basically, the guitars -- and there are six models in the Voice series -- will sound the same on stage, amplified, as it does unplugged in an intimate setting.
